Kavya Annu is a Graduate Research Scientist working in collaboration with University of Tennessee Health Science Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She worked as a Regulatory Affairs Associate for a year after graduating from Wright State University with Masters in Pharmacology and Toxicology. She is associated with LSTN/BioTN for almost 3 years now and this experience gave her a deep appreciation for how non-profit organizations like BioTN seek to educate and enable scientists/innovators. During the past 3.5 years she has served as “Co-Director of Events and Outreach for MidSouth Academic Alliance of Life Sciences TN”, “Director of Career Development” and was part of Memphis Scipreneur organizing team (2018 & 2020). She also participated in Memphis Scipreneur Challenge (2019) and encourages other graduate students and post-docs to participate.
