Geetika Singh, PhD

 

Geetika Singh, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Children’s GMP LLC, a company owned by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She is involved with manufacturing and scale-up process of biotherapeutics to treat pediatric catastrophic diseases as mandated by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Singh earned her PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). During her graduate studies, she worked with nonprofit company, Ximbio (part of Cancer Research UK) to commercialize novel research reagents discovered by faculties at UTHSC and led the International Students Association (ISA). She was recognized and awarded by Imhotep society for her leadership contribution at campus. She has volunteered as an Events and Outreach Director for the BioTN Academic Alliance Memphis chapter and actively participated in organizing career development events and outreach activities. Prior to her PhD degree, Singh worked in a startup pharmaceutical industry and received her master’s degree in the United Kingdom. In her spare time, Geetika enjoys Latin dancing, traveling and waterfalls hiking.
